How to tell when your garage door needs repair

·        If a scraping sound is heard when either closing or opening the garage door, then that indicates a problem with the garage door’s cable. The cable is worn out. Consult a garage door expert with this matter.

·        Slow motion of a garage door indicates a problem with garage door springs. If this sign is present, then it’s time to replace the springs. You’ll need the help of a technician since working with a garage door’s springs without proper training is very dangerous.
